Witchblade #15

Suspended, Jake leaves for the California coast while Sara is offered a new job with Level 42. As Sara boards a plane to Rio De Janiero, the precinct is hit by the Yakuza hitman, Tora No Shi.-My View-Choices and consequences. The art was impressive, as usual. The panels flowed smoothly and the suspense was built up nicely. A great introduction for a new character and he means business.

Witchblade #16

Captured in Brazil by the same government organization who sent her there, Sara must escape or become an 'obedient' super-soldier. One problem...the Witchblade isn't reacting at all.-My View-The plot thickens. Sara is plunged into hot water, again and must depend on herself for her freedom. A lot of new characters, but who is friend and who is foe? A new development, but did it have to be superhumans?

Witchblade #17

Betrayed, Sara manages to make the Witchblade work, barely. Sara is cornered and helpless when Ian Nottingham arrives, sword in hand and saves her from her would-be murderers.-My View-Intense and action-packed. Art: superb. Inks: stunning. Colors: beautiful. Story: intriguing. Sara's perserverance surfaces as she refuses to die quietly. The shocking and long-awaited return of Ian Nottingham!

Witchblade #18

Family Ties: The beginning. Back in New York, Sara is reinstated with the force. She is hot on the trail of a Mafia hit man, Jackie Estacado aka the Darkness while New York teeters on the brink of a mob war.-My View-Family ties. It seems like everyone is tied to one 'family' or another. This issue looks to be the beginning of a great crossover!

Witchblade #19

Family Ties: conclusion. Armageddon! The Witchblade and Darkness merge and a new being is born prematurely. Jackie gets his power back, but Sara's doubts cause the Witchblade to stay with Nottingham.-My View-Intense and thought-provoking. Art: awesome. Inks: incredible. Colors: rocked. Story: riveting. Sara and Jackie take action because there is no one else. What will Sara do now that she doesn't have the Witchblade? And Nottingham? Really sets up prefectly for the next story arc.
