Witchblade #21 Sara covers Nottingham as he embarks on a rescue mission. Julie Pezzini attends a Prosperity rally in Times Square. Later, Nottingham re-enters a mystery man's service as Sara visits her mother?-My View-Unexpected alliances and action.
A new character, Gavin Taylor is introduced.
The Witchblade either punished or tried to warn of danger by stabbing Ian during his mystery meeting? Which one?
Witchblade #22 Sara must break the news to Jake that his ex, Cynthia was murdered. Julie consoles. As the Witchblade begins to overwhelm him, Nottingham seeks out Sara for help.-My View-Murder.
We see Sara's detective skills kicking in and she does all her own investigating.
This issue is more of a set up for the next issue but has some interesting secrets to divulge.
Witchblade #23 Jake pursues his case against Gavin Taylor. Sara researches a button, the only piece of evidence in Cynthia's murder as Nottingham meets with Gahan. He learns that he was part of project "Odin".-My View-Another set up issue.
We are introduced to more and more questions but no answers, yet. Ian is even more being taken over by the Witchblade. Guest art wasn't too bad but not exactly like Turner's Wutchblade.
Witchblade #24 Sara is attacked and the Witchblade exerts some connection with her. Sara makes a shocking discovery about her father. Nottingham is instructed to eliminate a threat, Jake's new informant.-My View-The books art though different was pretty cool, I would never want it to stay the same way but a quick change for an issue isn't always too bad. The story was OK and it obviously build up for the finally of this arc 25.
Witchblade #25 Sara confronts Siry and the Witchblade takes her over momentarily. After a climatic battle, Sara reclaims the Witchblade from Nottingham. Jake is seriously wounded and the informant is dead. Irons returns from the dead-My View-A great book with everything the Witchblade readers have grown to know and love. Great pencils, inks, colors and the story was awesome too, what a way for Turner to leave.
